  20. We are new to the cat blogosphere, and only visited your blog for the first time last week, but since then had been checking in every day.

    Words are not enough to take away the ache and the loss. Time heals, but not enough. Love and friends will surround you and our wish for you is to know that the love you shared will be a gift that can never diminish or lessen with the passing days.

    I, too, lost the love of my life, February 22, 2007 and my heart longs for him still. I cannot say that time heals, but I have learned to love Mike on a different plane now, and that we had something that many never have. I feel fortunate to have been loved so.

    May you find hope and comfort in those who surround you during this saddest of times.

    Lulu, I feel your loss so intensely now, as I know others do too.
    Everyone I’ve spoken with at Brew Crew was so shocked at the news of the devastating and sudden illness. It is clear many came to you both so easily, and right away – and this – THIS, dammit
    just does not
    seem possible.

    Klaus and you enlivened every room
    with positive energy and creativity.
    Thank you for that gift.

    I am angry and sad that something so good will not be the same again. The Oregon Brew Crew has also lost our best new Cook and Volunteer.
    We were definitely excited to have Klaus involved. (That jumbo Gumbo Klaus brought this month was generous & fantastic- Wow, and oh, YUM)

    Some Dog-love is in order for us all. Bring Bogie over
    for a play date with Sydney when you want a get-away,
    or just to be with others.
