First of all mama and I want to thank everydog, cat, and hammie for dropping by to send us some dad-love.  Mama especially cannot thank you all enough for the incredible concern and kindness.

My dad is very, very sick.  He is on life support at the hospital for a very bad infection, liver disease, organs failing, and an issue with his bowel.  We have every hand, foot, and paw crossed every which way for him, but he is still very, very sick.

Mama is still working on a miracle for dad – and every day when we receive comments or emails she reads them to him so he KNOWS that he is loved.  We’re not sure if he can hear, but mama talks to him constantly and has only left his side to come home and take care of me and the kitties.  And the cats and I are already working on how to best take care of her right back…

But right now I just want my dad HOME.  I want him to be WELL.

Mama promises to keep everyone updated from her spot at dad’s side…

  2. Oh no Bogie, we are so very sorry about your Daddy being so sick. Does he have one of those horrible staph infections that are so hard to cure? We’ll be praying as hard as we can for him to get well very fast. Will they let you & the kitties go up to see him?? Some places do that for pets. We bet if you could go lick his face he would get better even faster!
    Stay strong for your Mama ok?? Remember we’ll be praying & thinking about you & your family.

  30. Hello, we are so sorry to meet you with such sad circumstances. We are hoping and hoping that the doctors can fix your Dad. Hang tight. You have lots of love that will be needed. We suggest chewing on a pillowcase for a while and then sending it along for your Mom to switch at the hospital. The smell of you might be good for your Dad! Hugs and gentle thoughts …

    We are devastated to learn of your dad’s illness and we will keep him in our prayers. Can you pls email Mommy his full name. Mom and Dad are Jewish and religious Jews pray for the sick by name every day in synagogues and homes around the world. Mom has family who are religious who can post his name on these prayer lists so people will pray for him but we need his name and his Mother’s first name. Please email Mom this information so she can get the word out, we really believe in the power of prayer across all denominations….
