Wow, I’ve never seen an infant pinecone before. When I saw the first photo I thought it was a tiny pineapple. That’s really cool!

Cool pinecone! We get tons of those on our trees, all different kinds of pine too. When they first start to grow on the tree, they look like branch buds, but they aren’t. Pretty weird aren’t they??
