Awwww… this little guy was born without ears (they’re calling him Weasel). They call him a Border Terrier cross in the article but he looks an awful lot like an Airedale or Welshie to me… they say that he’s fine and most likely has functioning ears under a flap of skin, and they may operate to help him hear. He’s awfully cute!
I found his story HERE

No ears?!
So he won’t have to worry about blocking out the humans crapping on, blah de blah de blah.
But he won’t be able to hear magic keywords like ‘walk’, ‘dinner’ and ‘treat’ either.
Pros and cons.
I hope internetzzzz allows this comment, I haven’t had much luck with commenting on your blog of late, Bogart dooog.
Chow for now,

Poor little guy begin nicknamed weasel! I think you’re right – he looks more like a Welsh Terrier than a Border. Let’s hope he finds a really good home.

Poor little doggie! He does look like a welsh mix. We wonder how many times that is happened with dogs? First time we’ve heard of it. Hope they can help him out.

Maybe we can get him one of those bunny ears headband thingys so he’ll feel more comfortable on the playground with the other doggies. And then we could even add rabbit to the possible breeds that he’s mixed with 🙂
That story just warms the heart. If he can’t find a home, I know we would be more than happy to take him. My mom thinks he is just adorable.
